the software for network connection is goofy, as is all hp software (could be a windows issue, as most problems w/ pc's is that they run a microsoft os). Inkjet printers are the most common type of printer.

it's not the best of scans, but i've seen a lot worse. text print quality is nice and clear, the 4ењ† prints i've printed look awesome (note: only buy hp photo paper, i found out the hard way), the scans are better than my previous all in one and the stand alone scanner. dispite hearing that the print quality was poor and all the other gripes about this printer, i still bought it. I really looked into this and a few other printers before settling on this one.
